Some copies have an "Amebix, Sonic Mass" black sticker with white lettering on the front of the case."Sonic Mass" is a powerful CD release by Amebix, a band regarded as one of the true pioneers of crust and dark anarcho punk. On this album, Amebix fuse their raw, apocalyptic energy with a more atmospheric and epic sound, creating dense, slow-burning songs that feel both threatening and cathartic. The guitars move between metallic heaviness and post-punk-like coldness, while the rhythm section underpins everything with a tribal, almost ritualistic pulse.
