Statt einer üblichen Studioveröffentlichung der Band erhält man hier einen intimen, sehr persönlichen Einblick in die Plattensammlung und den musikalischen Geschmack von Zero 7. Die Auswahl reicht - je nach Edition - von warmem Downtempo und Electronica über Soul und Jazz bis hin zu sanftem Indie und organischen Grooves, die alle eines gemeinsam haben: Sie entfalten ihre volle Wirkung in ruhigen Abend- und Nachtstunden. Die Übergänge sind fließend, die Dramaturgie wirkt wie ein nächtlicher Streifzug durch unterschiedliche Stimmungen - mal entspannt und träumerisch, mal leicht melancholisch, dann wieder subtil treibend. Zero 7 ist ein britisches Downtempo- und Electronica-Projekt, das vor allem für seine warmen, atmosphärischen Klanglandschaften und seine Zusammenarbeit mit charakterstarken Gastsängerinnen und -sängern bekannt ist.
