Description:Gravity X by Truckfighters, released 13 November 2020, includes the following tracks: "Momentum", "The Deal", "Subfloor", "Manhattan Project" and more. This version of Gravity X comes as a 1xCD. -
It has been quite awhile since a stoner rock band made such an impact on me as the oddly named Truck fighters from Sweden. These guys play stoner rock right, with fuzz galore and spaced out textures and trippy atmospheres that can only be fully appreciated upon a non-stop voyage through the outer limits of Gravity X. You've gotta really sit back and tune out when you listen to this stuff, as only then will you really get sucked in for the ride. From the catchy, Kyuss-flavored opener "Desert Cruiser" to the moody, absurdly melodic trippiness of "Momentum" to the QOTSA-like rolling barrage of "Freewheelin" to album hilite "Manhattan Project" with it's superb hooks and melodies (another distant ode to QOTSA in a way) and catchy guitar lead Truck fighters is an instant stoner rock classic.

"Gravity X" on CD is the explosive debut album by Swedish stoner-rock band Truckfighters, released by the independent label Fuzzorama. Packed with thick, fuzz-drenched guitar riffs, driving bass lines and dynamic drumming, this record captures a raw, desert-rock energy while still sounding fresh and melodic. Across the album, Truckfighters combine heavy grooves, catchy hooks and extended instrumental passages, making "Gravity X" a perfect entry point into modern stoner and fuzz rock. The production emphasizes warmth and analogue grit, giving every track a live-in-the-studio feel that fans of Kyuss, Fu Manchu and Queens of the Stone Age will immediately appreciate.
Truckfighters have built an international cult following through relentless touring and high-energy live shows, often being cited as one of the most exciting bands in the contemporary stoner-rock scene. Their music has reached a broad underground audience and helped shape the sound of European fuzz rock in the 2000s and 2010s, with "Gravity X" frequently mentioned as one of their essential releases.
Behind this CD stands Fuzzorama, an independent label founded and run with a clear passion for heavy, fuzz-oriented rock. Fuzzorama specializes in stoner, desert and fuzz rock bands and has become a respected name among genre enthusiasts for its carefully curated roster and lovingly produced physical releases. With high-quality pressings, attention to artwork and a close connection to both artists and fans, Fuzzorama has established itself as a key player in the international underground rock community--and "Gravity X" is one of the label's flagship titles.
