nb: 1-8 is now commonly known as the 'Bongo Version'.
This version was recorded quickly by Kate Bush at the end of 1979 for a BBC TV Christmas special titled 'Christmas Snowtime Special' (broadcast 22 December 1979) and was not released on any Kate Bush release.
The 'Bongo Version' is 3:47 in duration, and is sparse in its instrumentation featuring prominent bongos and slide whistle. This version has a 'cold' end.
(For comparison the 7" single version of 'December Will Be Magic Again' that was issued 17 November 1980 is 4:51 in duration, uses more instrumentation and fades out.)
