Beggars Arkive release a long-awaited vinyl reissue of THE CULT´S second album LOVE. Two editions are available. Red vinyl is exclusive to independent retail, Black vinyl will be available everywhere. THE CULT is fronted by Ian Astbury on vocals and Billy Duffy on guitar. Their music and albums at this point need no introduction as they have cemented themselves over the years since they began in 1983, as one of the greatest rock bands around. Love was the Cult´s second album, originally released in 1985. It was their breakthrough and produced many singles including "Rain", "Revolution" and the epic anthem "She Sells Sanctuary" - songs that still resonate today - in fact "She Sells Sanctuary" was recently featured in Season Two of the hit TV show Euphoria. The album eventually defined their career, but at the time, it flew in the face of everything that going on in music. -
To celebrate Love, The Cult will be performing the entire album on the 'Love Live' USA tour running mid-August thru September. A consistent seller over nearly 25 years, Love has sold over a million in North America. The expanded edition is a 2 disc set featuring the album re-mastered for the first time from the original studio digital tapes alongside a bonus disc featuring all the tracks from their 1985 UK singles, many of which were only previously available in the USA on the limited Rare Cult box set issued in 2000. Also included are all the 1985 remixes of "She Sells Sanctuary".

Sold at both the US and UK Beggars Banquet (Label) web sites. Two different official release dates, however some shipped early. There are no differences in the UK or US versions other than where they were actually sold.
