Brought To You By Veronica Vasicka & Peanut Butter Wolf |
 | | Description: | Minimal Wave Tapes Vol.1 is a compilation of house tracks released as CD on 27 Apr 2018. - BROUGHT TO YOU BY VERONICA VASICKA & PEANUT BUTTER WOLF2010 collection of rare Electronic music from the late '70s and early '80s. Most often dark and arty, the 'Minimal Wave' scene was, like Punk, a DIY-based movement that inspired budding and accomplished musicians into creating something new and exciting with simple synthesizers and other pieces of electronic equipment. Imagination and atmosphere was in great supply even if high production value wasn't."This is the first official volume (available on CD, LP and digitally) of minimal wave music from Europe and North America recorded in the 1980s. Most of the songs were originally released on limited edition cassettes or vinyl by the artists themselves, and only a handful of people knew about them, Now, they've been remastered from their analog source tapes tapes for your listening pleasure. Brought to you by [a=Veronica Vasicka] and [a=Peanut Butter Wolf]."
