 | | Description: | Infinity Pool is an album by When Saints Go Machine, released in 2013. Infinity Pool includes a.o. the following tracks: ??Love And Respect Feat. Killer Mike?, ??Iodine?, ??Order?, ??Webs? and more. The album is a electronic CD. - Any of the clichs about Scandinavian countries is that they are neat and tidy, well ordered, clean. The same could not be said of Copenhagen four-piece When Saints Go Machine's second full-length album, Infinity Pool. The opposite, in fact. It's a record born out of an atmosphere of chaos. It's harder, darker and more synthetic than it's predecessors. It opens with 'Love And Respect', which features a guest vocal from Grammy award winning rap artist Killer Mike, who freewheels over chugging, synth-drenched beat. Elsewhere, 'Dead Boy' sees Vonsild's tremulous falsetto digitized and then floated over a semi-ambient sounds- cape, while 'Infinity Killer' pitches skittering sound effects against a low-end drone.Variant of [r=4691798], made by Sony DADC instead of Optimal Media GmbH.
Issued in a jewel case with clear tray and a 16-page booklet.
All tracks mixed at Sir Jorcks, Copenhagen 2013 except track 8 mixed in The Room 2012.
Mastered at Metropolis Mastering, London.

Made in the EU."Infinity Pool" is a CD release by the Copenhagen-based band When Saints Go Machine, showcasing their distinctive blend of electronic music, pop sensibility, and experimental sound design. Across the album, the group weaves warm synth textures, fragmented beats, and emotive vocals into a dense, cinematic atmosphere that rewards both focused listening and repeated plays. The tracks oscillate between introspective, slow-building pieces and more rhythm-driven songs, giving the record a dynamic flow while maintaining a coherent tonal identity. Lyrically, "Infinity Pool" moves in a space of melancholy, abstraction, and subtle euphoria, often pairing fragile vocal lines with expansive, sometimes darkly shimmering arrangements. It is a work that feels both intimate and spacious, designed for listeners who appreciate electronic music that prioritizes mood, detail, and emotional depth over straightforward genre formulas.
The CD format underlines the album's character as a complete, carefully sequenced experience. The sound production places great emphasis on depth and nuance, so the album gains a lot from being heard front to back rather than in isolated singles. When Saints Go Machine's approach on "Infinity Pool" balances club-adjacent rhythm ideas with avant-pop structures, making it appealing to fans of leftfield electronica, art pop, and atmospheric indie alike. This record adds another strong chapter to the band's catalog and confirms their reputation as a project that thinks beyond conventional electronic or pop frameworks.
When Saints Go Machine is a Danish band known for combining electronic production with soulful vocals and an experimental edge, earning attention far beyond their home country. They have built a profile as one of the more distinctive acts in the Scandinavian electronic and art-pop landscape, appearing at major festivals and receiving critical recognition for their unique sound. Their work is often praised for its emotional intensity, innovative production, and the way it blurs the boundaries between genres, helping them stand out in an increasingly crowded electronic music scene.
