Lavagnino from the movie produced in USA by Universal Pictures "Dark purpose" (known in Italy as "L'intrigo") directed by George Marshall and Vittorio Sala starring Rossano Brazzi, Shirley Jones, George Sanders, Micheline Presle e Giorgia Moll. The plot is a Thriller, a modern version of the classic "Jane Eyre". The fans of Film Music now can listen to a dramatic and mysterious symphonic score where a romantic and sunny main theme emerges introducing the Italian location of the story. M°Lavagnino uses this lovely and quiet motif as love theme, but the mad side of the plot is given by macabre strings and violent orchestral performances of the strings and brass. A true jewel of the Italian Silve Age rescued from a limbo. Digitally re-mastered and restored from the original mono master tapes. Deluxe eight pages booklet in full color enriched with archives stills.
