It is the first album in seven years, and it is said to be inferior to its predecessor, but I am quite satisfied that it has returned to the album jacket style of the first and second albums.

On this album, the music of the group has become a little more measured, but the signature kidney Dark Funeral and Lord Ahriman is still recognizable. I would like more speeds and more expression... The best tracks here are Nail Them to the Cross and Where Shadows Forever Reign.

This is the new (relatively) album by Dark Funeral. Its the first official album release without Magus Caligula basically. As much as I love Caligula, Diabolis Interium being one of my all time favorites, I think Heljarmadr fits in perfectly in the band. Overall great album.
