Description:Live At Raul's is a compilation of punk tracks released as CD on 28 Jun 2019. -
On the heels of the Live at Raul's 40th anniversary vinyl LP reisse, SteadyBoy Records is delighted to make available once again the 1995 CD release of Live At Raul's". Label boss Freddie Steady Krc licensed original Live at Raul's"tracks from The Explosives, The Skunks, Standing Waves, The Next and Terminal Mind to DejaDisc back in the mid-1990s. (The late) Roky Erickson & The Explosives had also recorded a set for inclusion in the Live at Raul's 1979 LP release. Contractual conflicts prevented their use on the original LP. DejaDisc got permission to include two of the Roky Erickson & The Explosives tracks for their CD release. SteadyBoy Records recently acquired all remaining inventory of CD copies from DejaDisc and are delighted to made the CD version of Live at Raul's available once again, and, for the first time, available digitally. Punk and New Wave Texas-style!
All tracks recorded live in Austin, Texas by the Reelsound Recording Mobile Truck. Recorded September 16, 1979 Originally released December 16, 1979 Two additional tracks by Roky Erickson did not appear on the 1979 vinyl release due to conflicts with his record label at that time.
