Description:Nach fast einem Jahrzehnt Pause veröffentlicht Versus nun endlich ihr neues Album EX VOTO! Seit Jahren gibt es unter den Fans Gerüchte, dass Versus an einem Sci-Fi-Konzeptalbum arbeitet. Die Band war seit der letzten Veröffentlichung 2010 weitgehend aus der �ffentlichkeit verschwunden, bevor sie die ausgezeichnete Ex Nihilo EP im Mai auf ihrem neuen Label, Ernest Jenning Record Co. aus dem Nichts veröffentlichte. Nun hat Versus den Gerüchten ein Ende gesetzt und ihr neues Album EX VOTO, das ebenfalls über das Label Ernest Jenning Record Co. veröffentlcht wird, angekündigt. Ein Gespräch mit dem Frontmann der Band, Richard Baluyut, offenbart Anspielungen auf die Wissenschaft, Fiktion und Spiritualität. Das Album wurde Ian James und Ray Ketchem produziert. -
Vinyl LP pressing. There have been rumblings for years amongst the band's ardent fans about Versus working on a sci-fi concept album. The band had essentially disappeared from the public eye since releasing 2010's On the Ones and Threes, before the excellent Ex Nihilo EP materialized in May 2019, unveiling the nascent stages of this direction. Now, the apocrypha has been dispelled with the new LP, Ex Voto. It is evident immediately that the two records complement one another thematically, and were culled from the same sessions, recorded by Ian James and mixed by Ray Ketchem.
