Zwei Jahrzehnte enger Verbindung haben sie zu vertrauten Kollegen gemacht, die sich intuitiv ergänzen. Mathias Eick und Manu Katchés versierten Beiträge verstärken das flieÃ?ende Zusammenspiel des Quartetts und geben jedem Stück eine einzigartige Stimmung. Last Decade wurde in den Studios La Buissonne in der Provence aufgenommen und von Manfred Eicher produziert. -

Mathias and Manu share a longstanding association with the label and their respectively unique instrumental signatures can be traced across this set of exclusively original material - eight pieces by Benjamin, one by Jer"me. Last Decade was recorded in Studios La Buissonne, Pernes-Les-Fontaines and produced by Manfred Eicher.
