This version of Caesar Salad Days comes as a 1xLP.
The vinyl is pressed as a opaque disc. - Caesar Salad Days is the eleventh ADOLESCENTS album. It is a pre-pandemic product of the pandemic. The songs are written before the pandemic, and were recorded in the middle - somewhere during May of 2022. They are revisits of songs released over the last 35 years. A sampler, of sorts. So these songs go back a few years and came from a number of time periods ranging from 1980 to 2018. Early on I realized that I didn't have the money to pull off this recording task. We weren't playing shows and so there was no income. What I did have was lots of stuff I could sell using online auction websites. And so I did. I sold like a fool through most of the first couple of pandemic years until I saved enough. It felt good to accomplish that. I then pitched the idea of recording to the band. Everyone was receptive and the pandemic made getting together a gift, so it was agreed that we would make a record. It would be a straightforward run through a selection of songs that have been part of our set over the last few years. This would be the song list for the recording.Limited edition of 500 copies on red vinyl.
