 | | Description: | 'THE LEGENDARY SECOND ALBUM AVAILABLE ON VINYL FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME AFTER 23 YEARS! '':Duett' - the name of this second album from ASP says it all. Finally, fans are now also able to call this work their very own as a limited edition vinyl picture disc. This second instalment in the cycle not only helped the musicians finally break through onto the dark music scene's dancefloors; it also shed lots of light on the story of the 'Schwarze Schmetterling' (black butterfly). The story outline is told in the trancelike 'Kleineren Ballade vom Schwarzen Schmetterling' in particular (and was also superbly illustrated by Pit Hammann in the picture book of the same name). And in 'Versuchung', listeners witness a dialogue between two beings who cannot manage with or without each other. An inner conflict which for many listeners also enabled a similarly understandable, exciting journey into their own self.
The energetic 'Kokon' too - which like the rest of the album is strongly characterised by the electronic sound of the early days - has earned a place of honour in fans' hearts, and which especially in a live context represents a veritable neckbreaker. Other all-time fan favourites such as the epic 'Schwarz' or furious 'Besessen' round off this total work of art, proving the musical and lyrical versatility of ASP's oeuvre even at the start of the band's career.
- Subtitled 'Der Schwarze Schmetterling, Teil II'
