Produziert wurde das Album von Dave Alvin und Victor Krummenacher, gemischt und gemastert von Craig Parker Adams in Winslow Court, Los Angeles, CA.
Was vor vier Jahren als musikalische Wunschvorstellung begann, ist nun Realität: die Supergruppe der â??Californian Psychedelic Rockersâ?? (Doom Charts). Die beiden Studioalben von The Third Mind - The Third Mind (2020) und The Third Mind 2 (2023) - wurden von dem GRAMMY-prämierten Gitarristen Dave Alvin und dem erfahrenen Alternative-Music-Bassisten Victor Krummenacher (Camper Van Beethoven, Monks of Doom, Eyelids) ins Leben gerufen und beinhalten den Gitarristen David ImmerglĂĽck (Counting Crows, Monks of Doom, Camper Van Beethoven), Schlagzeuger Michael Jerome (Richard Thompson, Better Than Ezra, John Cale) und Sängerin Jesse Sykes von ihrer von der Kritik gefeierten Gruppe Jesse Sykes and The Sweeter Hereafter. Bei den psychedelischen Live-Improvisationen von Third Mind wird der Gastgitarrist Mark Karan (Bob Weir's Ratdog, Phil Lesh, Delaney Bramlett) fĂĽr ImmerglĂĽck einspringen.â?? - "Live Mind" is an atmospheric live album on CD by the band Third Mind, released by the independent label Yep Roc. The recording captures the band in an intimate concert setting, focusing on organic interplay, dynamic songs and the spontaneous energy that only happens on stage.
