The fifth studio album by English musician Sting. It was released on 26 February 1996. The album has been certified Platinum in three different countries (US, UK and Canada) and Gold in nine others. I recommend.

Mercury Falling is a record of modest pleasures; it's just not an infectious, compulsive listen. And Sting is all about nuance, and nuance being elusive has to be slowly uncovered. Then if the artistry is right, eventually what is revealed within the nuance was complexity all along. Mercury Falling probably follows in this pattern more so than any other Sting album.
